Revision and exam courses
Revision course
A planned run of sessions that revisits a syllabus before an examination.

About Revision course
- Who it is for
- Students preparing for a school or external examination who have already covered the syllabus.
- Before you start
- The syllabus must have been taught once. Bring your exam board, subject, level and recent test results.
- Typical length
- Planned around your exam date; usually several weeks.
- How it is taught
- Taught one to one or in small groups, online or, where the tutor offers it, at home.
A revision course works through the syllabus topic by topic, checks what the student remembers and uses short tests to find weak spots. Tutors agree a timetable that fits the time before the examination and adjust it as the student improves.
