IGCSE Tutors: Online and Home Tuition by Subject and Board

The International General Certificate of Secondary Education is a two-year course for students of about 14 to 16. Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE are the two versions students in Pakistan and the Gulf meet most often. This page helps students and parents find IGCSE tutoring by subject, exam board and format.

Tutors on this site list the subjects and levels they teach, and our team approves a profile before it appears. What each tutor offers, where and at what fee differs, so read the profile and ask about a short trial lesson before you book.

Ways to Study IGCSE

Lessons are one-to-one and follow the student's syllabus. These are the plans we usually discuss with families.

Full course (usually 6 to 8 months, or the whole two-year course)

Suits a student who wants steady support from the start of the syllabus. Topic-by-topic lessons, regular homework and marked timed questions, with a past-paper phase before the exam.

Crash course (usually 2 to 3 months before the exam)

Suits a student who needs to organise revision quickly. A diagnostic first, then targeted revision of weak topics and timed practice on past papers.

Retake preparation (usually 1 to 2 months, depending on the gap)

Suits a student sitting the subject again in the next series. A review of the earlier result, then lessons that go straight to the topics and question types that lost marks.

Online and Home IGCSE Tuition

IGCSE online tutors work through video lessons and are available in Pakistan, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Iraq.

IGCSE home tutors visit the student's home in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi.

For revision before an exam, see the IGCSE crash course page.

IGCSE by Exam Board

Boards differ in syllabus codes, paper names and sessions. Choose the page for your board.

How to Find a IGCSE Tutor

The process is simple, and you stay in control of the decision.

1. Tell us what you need

Send a request with the subject, the board, the syllabus code if you know it, and the topics that cost marks.

2. Compare profiles

We reply with suitable approved profiles, or tell you honestly if we have none yet. Read the qualifications, boards and teaching style of each tutor.

3. Try a lesson

Many tutors offer a short trial lesson. Use it to see whether their explanations suit the student, then agree the schedule and fee with the tutor.

IGCSE Past Papers and Study Guides

Our past-paper library lists papers by board and syllabus code, and the IGCSE resources page has plain-language guides on grading, subject choices and exam technique. Common questions are answered on the IGCSE tutoring FAQs page.

For the rules, syllabuses and dates themselves, use the official websites: Cambridge International Education and Pearson Edexcel. Boards change details from time to time, so check them before you plan.
