About GCSE
- Typical ages
- Usually ages 14 to 16
GCSEs are taken at the end of secondary school in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and by some students elsewhere. Specifications are set by awarding bodies such as AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel and WJEC/Eduqas, so tutoring should follow the student's own specification.
